Welcome to OUT OF THE BOX MARKETING! EP= 31 (KFC) "FCK" In 2018,KFC faced a supply chain crisis of chickens in U.K which made them stop their operations. Obviously what would KFC serve without chickens? 😭 So instead of a Boring usual corporate apology they turned this into a Marketing Campaign They published a full page newspaper ad featuring an empty KFC bucket and the words on bucket was rearranged to FCK (KFC rearranged turns into FCK 😂) Below the 'FCK bucket' they wrote: Sorry + Corporate apology + reason behind chicken shortage. Boom Perfect Marketing 💥 Why this worked ? ■FCK word grabbed instant attention ■ It was in their name itself 😂 ■It was relatable with the supply chain crisis ■Super unique and Creative obviously Liked the post?
