I'd put up my thoughts only for the rural health care. The main issues crumbling the rural health care nowadays is availability of doctorsl, basic lab infrastructure for diagnosis and basic health care setups for providing the emergency medical care. It is no less than stupidity for anyone to think of providing all these at the costs that we see at metros and tier 2 cities. However infrastructure and professionals can't be hired at low costs to provide these at rural setups. Govt tried to balance everything from decades but failed and finally had to resort to compulsory postings for interns . Even this plan was able to solve only one thing, that is availability of doctors nd not the other issues. Coming to the current day scenario, most of the rural medical health care is relied on pharmacies who prescribe at their will and Unregistered Ramps who work on a commission basis to refer people to big cities. Now that we had a breif look into the problem statement , let's shift out focus on possible solutions. Can a doctor be outsourced , NO. But there is a scope for larger hospitals to arrange camps in rural areas which they are already doing for their own benefit . A platform can be created where doctors can enroll for attending the camps either voluntarily or with a tie up from a hospital. The reason hospitals need to be rolled in is for the revenue to the app. They can advertise it . They would do it for the sake of revenue going forward. Although hospitals can conduct camps on their own, they can partly fund the revenue to the app that is coordinating more number of these camps. Next thing that can be focussed is the lab investigations. This is a bit more tricky and involves heavy logistics to the lab company. But the platform can create a bridge. By tie ing up with govt PHCs or the clinical in that village and the private labs, any lab tests that are not available in the place can be requested by the doctor in the app labelling as NORMAL/URGENT/EMERGENCY and set up a collection request to the private lab who is presented in the nearby tier 2 town. Probably there are many private labs doing it in their own capacity using WhatsApp but having a tech enabled app can quantify the demand and provide a faster delivery of results. Digitalizing medical records can be worked out but is impractical in a rural setup. As simple as I put up things from my mind , this isn't going to be an easy path for anyone who wants to cater to the needs of rural health care. There are hundreds of problems and more obstacles for every problem. No govt or private hospital was able to crack this just because of the amount of dedication this problem mandates and more importantly the costs . Good that someone is thinking of a solution and I would always be ready to help you with the information you need. Good luck
