What option would you choose if you were 20-23 year old with a lower middle class background,who wants to be an entrepreneur. 1. Directly start with startup, without money, without resources, without backup just start building without wasting time in professional course/competitive exams. 2. First go for CAT/CA/CS or IIT/IIM exam, get selected, get secured, then start your entrepreneural journey.

The class or background shouldn't matter if you wanna be entrepreneur get the preneur seek funding and work on it. Building a preneur doesn't take class it takes hardwork and consistency.

what kind of business are you trying to build? If you're aiming for a tech startup that needs VC funding, credentials from places like IIT/IIM open doors that would otherwise remain closed to someone from a lower middle class background. If you're building a bootstrapped business that can generate cash flow quickly, then immediate execution makes more sense. The path depends entirely on your specific entrepreneurial vision.

for starters, if you have an idea , pitch it on medial's startup showcase , you'll prolly get a fair idea if it has scope . if you don't have an idea/problem in your mind to solve , then I guess it's better to work for a startup that's trying to solve a real problem and hone your skills there, maybe take up roles such as founder's office so that you get a gist of how things sort of work ...
