Proactive AI: AI That Acts Before You Ask Recently, I've attended GenAI Revolution event. I am sharing some insights from a Talk happened about AI Evolution, from Reactive to Proactive AI. The Evolution of AI, can be divided into 3 phases: 1. Reactive AI: 👉 AI that only reacts when given input based upon pre-programmed rules. Technology: Decision Trees, if-else Example: - Deep Blue, developed by IBM, famously defeated world chess champion Garry Kasparov in 1997. 2. Predictive AI: 👉 AI that analyzes past data to predict future behavior. Technology: Neural Networks, Time series forcasting. Example: - Weather Forecasting - Recommendation systems of YT, Amazon etc... - Google Search autocomplete 3. Proactive AI: 👉 AI that not only predicts but acts autonomously. Technology: Neural Architecture Search, Self-supervised learning, RHLF Example: - GPTs - AI agents! - Personal Assistants like Siri, Gemini - Google Deepmind's AlphaFold
