yes exactly the same thing I found .Even in a city like chandigarh students find difficulty in reaching even after a strong transportation with a govt app . it takes sometimes 2hrs to travel 25 km just because of over burdened public transport and lack of availability on time. ola /uber are much costlier than public transport. per ride for 25 km is ₹300 one side in ola uber whereas in public transport it takes minimum ₹45 rupees. but in public transport there is no flexibility of time and forget about getting a seat. we must find out a solution as this problem is worse in other cities.
