A Late Night Thought ๐ The Learning Journey vs. The Illusion of Quick Wins Yesterday, while riding in an auto-rickshaw, I had an interesting realization about the trend on LinkedIn that I'm following myself. Many people share their learning journeyโdaily, weeklyโdocumenting their progress in coding, marketing, design, AI, or any other field. And often, we see success stories where someone lands a client or a job just by sharing their journey. Thatโs inspiring. But hereโs my take: just sharing your journey isnโt enough. If youโre doing it with the expectation that a job or client will magically appear, the probability is low. In the long run, it wonโt sustain. What sustains is genuine curiosity, discipline, and the joy of learning itself. If you are learning because you truly enjoy the process, because you are committed to growingโnot for external validationโthen it makes sense. But if youโre doing it purely for quick rewards, chances are, youโll burn out. So, the real question is: Are you learning & sharing it over here because you love it or because you expect a quick outcome?
