A Late Night Thought 🌃 The Learning Journey vs. The Illusion of Quick Wins Yesterday, while riding in an auto-rickshaw, I had an interesting realization about the trend on LinkedIn that I'm following myself. Many people share their learning journey—daily, weekly—documenting their progress in coding, marketing, design, AI, or any other field. And often, we see success stories where someone lands a client or a job just by sharing their journey. That’s inspiring. But here’s my take: just sharing your journey isn’t enough. If you’re doing it with the expectation that a job or client will magically appear, the probability is low. In the long run, it won’t sustain. What sustains is genuine curiosity, discipline, and the joy of learning itself. If you are learning because you truly enjoy the process, because you are committed to growing—not for external validation—then it makes sense. But if you’re doing it purely for quick rewards, chances are, you’ll burn out. So, the real question is: Are you learning & sharing it over here because you love it or because you expect a quick outcome?
