My 2 cents on this idea - Psychotherapy is definitely a need of the hour. However, the way it works is of a personal touch, especially the physical meet between the therapist and the seeker is kind of important. As a doctor, I have seen multiple times especially in Indian patients where the patient hesitates a lot to open up to reveal about self. Hell yes, speaking about therapy is still a taboo in many parts of India. Things are changing for good nowadays, but, in my opinion, an app based therapy session won't solve the problem. There's a chance of up selling an app with additional post therapy exercises, like meditating sounds/compilation of specific information regarding therapies, a social connect with other people going through similar experiences integrated.
