@medial STRATEGY SUGGESTIONS Post-SharkTank, the platform must be experiencing a significant influx of users. To convert these newcomers into long-term, engaged members, we need a multi-faceted strategy. *New users need immediate social proof.* Here are my suggestions: 1. Engagement Incentives & Gamification: Implement a badge / reputation points (XP) / reward system that rewards key actions such as posting, commenting, following and more importantly receiving likes and getting followers. These incentives not only motivate early engagement but also can be used to boost a user’s visibility and influence, creating a competitive environment that drives quality contributions. 2. Early Network Formation: Develop algorithms to recommend relevant users and establish early network connections. It’s vital for users to form real connections. By integrating the reward system, we can naturally encourage experienced users to interact with newcomers, helping them gain followers and fostering a network that supports organic engagement and social validation. 3. Rapid Bug Resolution & FAQ Support: Establish a real-time monitoring and alert system to facilitate rapid bug resolution as user numbers grow. Complement this with a comprehensive FAQ and online support portal, ensuring that even minor issues are addressed promptly to maintain a smooth, frustration-free experience. 4. Continuous Data-Driven Iteration: Monitor critical metrics like activation rate, 1-day/7-day/30-day retention, session frequency, and overall engagement. Utilize A/B testing and advanced analytics to continuously refine the recommendation engine, gamification features, and support processes based on actual user behavior. I have a couple more ideas if interested. This is a huge opportunity to build a powerful social platform in the Indian market.
