The Economy vs. Our Well-Being: A Personal Take A few months ago, a friend in finance told me, "A cyclist is a disaster for the economy." I laughed, but then he explained: 🚗 No car loans, no EMIs, no fuel purchases—bad for banks & oil companies. 🔧 No repairs, no tolls, no insurance—bad for service industries. 💊 Too healthy! No medicines, no expensive treatments—bad for pharma & private hospitals. And yet, we’re told to buy bigger cars, eat fast food, and then spend on weight loss & healthcare. The irony? What’s bad for the economy is often good for us. So, should the economy serve people, or should people serve the economy? Let’s rethink growth. 🚲🚶♂️ What’s your take? Let’s discuss. #HealthOverProfits #SustainableLiving #CyclingLife #EconomyVsWellbeing #UrbanLiving
