So we are building a web application for high schoolers who are going to college.(especially for future engineers) It will have mentors/student from different colleges/unis who has experienced the ground reality of their desired college. Our usp would be to leverage machine learning algorithms to connect a student to a mentor who shares similar characteristics such as location and dialect. We will also be open to students who would like to choose to talk to mentor of a specific college. This market is mainly run by offline businesses who uses the lack of knowledge of parents and students to misguide them to colleges who they have partnered with and gain a hefty commission. And the ethical online players,well they focus on foreign unis for high ticket cost. Any input would be highly appreciated.
