Inaction is a particularly insidious type of risk We often think of risk in terms of taking action (like starting a business or making a change), but failing to act can be an even greater risk. It's "insidious" (gradually harmful in a way that's not immediately obvious) because: - The consequences of inaction aren't immediately visible - It's easy to rationalize delay ("I'll do it later") - The cost of missed opportunities compounds over time - We rarely recognize or feel accountable for the things we didn't do
