Seeking Feedback on Matchmaking Service Concept As part of my job, I was tasked with creating a matchmaking system for our in-house games. While working on it, I realized the potential to expand this concept into a more accessible, simplified matchmaking service for other developers. The core features I’ve developed so far include: Violation reporting system to ensure fair play. Skill/rank-based matchmaking for balanced, competitive gameplay. The service would be similar to platforms like Google Open Match and Nakama from Heroic Labs, but with a more streamlined, user-friendly approach. Now, I’m considering offering this as a subscription-based service for smaller studios and independent developers. I’d appreciate any feedback on the idea: Do you think there’s demand for a simplified matchmaking service like this? Are there any features you think should be included or refined? What challenges or improvements do you foresee that could make this more appealing? Thanks in advance.
