Who knows if they are struggling to find jobs or are hustling in their ventures or trying to build something? Is that accounted in these kind of surveys? I think they assume if people don't have a job that they are jsut jobless

The real numbers are much higher because many unemployed youth don’t even register as job seekers. They are just sitting at home, doing gig work, or surviving on family support. The crisis is deeper than what official data shows.

Everyone is getting degrees, but where are the jobs? The job market in India is completely disconnected from what students are studying. We have engineers working as delivery agents, and PhDs applying for clerical jobs.

80-90% of India is employed by Unorganised Market. Mostly people who are self employed like: - Real estate agents - Farmers - Insurance advisors - Delivery agents - Cab drivers - Auto drivers - Labours - Small shopkeeper - Small stall owner - Fruit
