Firstly, for advertising, we need to scale up and have at least 1 lakh active users. However, considering the cost of managing them and the revenue from ads, I don't think it will be profitable. Secondly, I don't think gifting is a scalable and profitable business, as gifts are not something users send to their partners daily.
