𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 "𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗶 𝗸𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗮" 𝗜𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿? Born in 2000 in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, Ishan Sharma pursued Electrical and Electronics Engineering at BITS Pilani, Goa. During his college years, he explored multiple fields, including coding, data science, and social media marketing, to find his true interest. In 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown, he launched his YouTube channel, initially sharing insights on freelancing and career development. His first viral video on "How to Get Freelancing Clients" set the stage for rapid growth. By mid-2021, his channel had crossed 100,000 subscribers, thanks to engaging, value-packed content. He made the bold decision to drop out of college in 2021 to fully commit to content creation and entrepreneurship. Co-founded MarkitUp, a digital marketing agency that helps brands grow their presence on social media. This move established him as both an entrepreneur and a content creator. Focused on practical content related to freelancing, software development, personal finance, and entrepreneurship, making complex topics easy for beginners. By 2022, he had over 500,000 YouTube subscribers, and his influence expanded beyond YouTube to Instagram and LinkedIn. His collaborations with top industry experts and influencers boosted his credibility and reach. In 2023, during a podcast episode with Ashneer Grover, he revealed that he earns ₹35 lakh per month, shocking many and sparking discussions about the potential of digital entrepreneurship. Featured in Economic Times, YourStory, and other media outlets, making him one of the youngest and most successful content creators in India. As of 2024, he has over 1 million YouTube subscribers, runs a successful marketing agency, and continues to inspire young Indians to explore freelancing, digital marketing, and business.
