Hi Everyone, I'm currently working on a fintech app which supports payment gateway like PhonePe, GPay, Paytm. We're not into payment gateway but we need to support Peer-to-Peer(P2P) and Peer-to-Merchant(P2M) transactions in our app. I tried implementing Deep linking with UPI URL intent in React Native and I'm able to redirect to the UPI apps with payment info but the UPI apps are restricting my payment request and it needs some kind of authentication and I'm not sure what it is. We don't have any expertise in Fintech domain and so we're looking for some help in implementing this payment feature in our MVP, please message/comment your suggestions if you can help us.. Payment flow: 1. User clicks on pay from my app 2. User will be redirected to the PhonePe where payment info is pre filled 3. User completes the payment 4. Payment status info shared to my callback URL and user automatically gets redirected to my app

You’ll need to integrate with a UPI payment aggregator like Razorpay, Cashfree, or Juspay to handle P2P and P2M properly. Direct deep linking works for basic transactions, but for a proper fintech app, RBI compliant backend infra is a must

Phonepe was acquired by Flipkart in 2016. Later In Dec 2022, PhonePe separated from Flipkart, but both companies are still owned by Walmart. So, why need another UPI app?
