Why doesn't Indian VCs invest in Ideas or at Ideation stage? Is it because of fear of losing money or they just want to invest in proven track record founders. Remember one thing how great Elon Musk is ,Someone or Somebody will take birth on this place to eventually replace him. Indian VCs need to expand there vision and investment strategy and start investing into ideas rather than just waiting for Proven track record ones or safe businesses. VCs are born to take risk not like Value Investing where you invest in only margin of safety and MOAT.

If you want funding at the idea stage, stop chasing VCs. Angels & accelerators are way better for this. Or build a prototype, get traction, and then VCs will come running. In India, money follows momentum, not just vision.
