Remeber Good , Forgive Evil Two friends were walking through a desert. During the walk, they had a quarrel and one slapped the other. The one who got slapped wrote on the sand, "Today, my best friend slapped me." They walked on further and came to a water pool. There they started taking a bath. The one who got slapped started drowning in the pool but his friend saved him. Then the first one carved on the stone, "Today, my best friend saved my life." His friend asked him, "Earlier you wrote on the sand and now you have carved on the stone. Why so?" He replied, "When someone hurts you, you should try to forget the hurt soon. So, when you slapped me, I wrote on sand, so that it can be erased soon by the blowing winds. When you saved my life, I wrote it on stone, so that it should last long. When someone does good deeds, it should be kept in mind and remembered for long. The hurt should be forgiven and forgotten while the good should be remembered forever.
