What is Reliance Industries even doing? The company feels more like a local convenience store than a serious global player, with no clear vision or direction. They keep launching product after product, but most end up as failures. Instead of focusing on quality, innovation, or long-term customer loyalty, they seem stuck in a cycle of random expansion without a proper strategy. They should take a lesson from Tata, which has built great companies like TCS, Tata Motors, and Titan by focusing on quality, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth. Unlike Tata, which carefully builds businesses that stand the test of time, Reliance seems to rely more on government support—like the 20% tax on polyester imports—rather than true business excellence. Without these advantages, it wouldn’t be where it is today. Right now, it just feels like a La La company running on hype rather than real value.

Perplexity is experimenting with ads to monetize its AI-powered search engine. Ads will appear as sponsored follow-up questions, rather than within the answer itself. Feels like a nicer, less invasive approach to ads.
