The Reliance & Shein saga:- After the announcement of Reliance bringing back Shein to India, many people ranting about the Chinese involvement in the company. But people this is a strategic partnership, means Shein is a technology partner only for Reliance. Which tech they used to become a global fast fashion giant is coming to India partnering with the vast retail distribution channel of Reliance. Raw materials will be sourced, manufactured, sold locally while Reliance having all the customer data in India (as per official sources). Although I hate the monopolistic behaviour of Reliance but bringing Shein to India will increase the competition among the other brands. Hope it will benefit the end consumers like us✌️
