For a few cycles the budget didnโ€™t really do so much. But, this one had some big steps. My 5 takeaways if youโ€™re a startup 1) no income tax for 12.5 L pa and below. Thatโ€™s 90% of india. The middle class is the big winner here. More money going into consumption unleashing animal spirits of the economy 2) 10,000 Cr FOF for startups. The day weโ€™ll have our own Temasek and GIC isnโ€™t so far 3) BIS is real. Toys need to become indigenous. One more step in the right direction 4) education in AI and a govt funded centre for execellence 5) India post opening up for Ecommerce. They have the most reach. Theyโ€™ve tried in the past but hopefully this is the year I liked this budget because it took some action. You?
