this is a totally absurd comparison, Those demart retail stores make a huge profit margin and whereas these quick commerce have got lost in customer acquisition and retention. have you thought when ecommerce came people said shopping in shops and malls will be gone? has it happened? no right... similarly people prefer omnichannel. quick commerce will grow, but not at the cost of dmart. these retail stores can add so many sku's but dark stores can't add high margin products. you can't run for a longer period of time with short profit margin products. opex will be high. dmart business model is hard to crack. let's see what these quick commerce wala will do.
