Good Question :) We had researched for multiple name options but, zeroed in on this owing to the following reasons - We are into Augmented reality where people are able to experience a real experience aided by virtual world. "Meta" term which comes from metamorphosis represents the transformation of real to virtual and vice-versa. In short creation of virtual world "Shot" term we have as part of our brand because we want to bring joy of sports to every home and the shot hit by our device is what transcends from real world into game world to give the AR experience. Hence, we opted for MetaShot as brand name Other important considerations were availability of website domain, trademark etc.
