Hey I am on Medial • 5m

I am working as a contractor for a US company remotely from India for the last 3 years as Product Support Engineer. I get paid around 1.2L a month (1st job). Is this a good pay? Considering the market conditions And I want to switch to Python developer role but the issue is I come with an Aeronautical Engineering background. So even though I have the skill.. many reject my application for my education background 🫤 What could be the best way to achieve this. I am learning as many things as possible, completing coding challenges on popular websites, Creating projects and post on Github, linkdin. But I think I will need to choose a niche which I am not sure about and surfing internet for a random job related to Python is going to get me no where Any suggestions?
