Yes, this would be useful. But what I'm thinking is that isn't Social Media all this for entertainment too? rather than just for consuming info.. So just showing the most important posts and stuff would would be great for lot but in some ways, won't provide entertainment.

Yes absolutely but why not just a daily WhatsApp or Telegram digest instead of email? A chatbot or an app notification might hit harder than another email they’ll ignore.
