Forget about Foundational models (LLMs) in India we don't even have our own e-mail server. Today anyone can build it but to make it a successful product, one would need to provide it for FREE and with better perks as compared to Gmail, only then people will adopt it. But to do so, one would need a lot of funding, but one would not get any funding because Gmail and many other already exists in the market, the market is already saturated, etc. etc. Okay, then one might think we need to have other revenue lines, lets say something like Perplexity but in Indian language - this will slowly generate the revenue and the e-mail can run. The problem - you still need funding and you won't get one because now you're not focused on one thing - you're all over the place. And this goes on. Do you see the problem?
