So Deepseek is nothing but an improved GPT4 wrapper. I'm not saying that's its bad, bust it's most likely a government funded company which burning as crazy (as GPT4 api costs are 107 times more than of deepseek v3)

If they’re giving GPT-4-level results at a fraction of the cost, that’s actually great for users. Not everyone can afford the crazy pricing of OpenAI APIs.

see the thing is that they didn't made their own ai model. and are using gpt 4 api only. That means they are offering something worth $30 for $0.25. in short it's great for us as consumer, but they are surely burning as crazy. And only considering how popular this have got, only few companies can fund deepseek. thus making it a big deal
