I'm thinking of a polls posting platform where any kind of polls related to any future event can be posted, but the twist is that rather than just normal whatsapp polls here money will be staked over the result of that poll just like gambling. After the actual result of the poll and distribution of the money to those who won the stakes, the profit will belong to the author of the post. Please tell your views about this?

The idea is good.

Let's suppose there's a person, who posted a poll and then let's assume that only yes or no are the options but the poll is very important for unbiased opinions. Now if the question seems like asking about a service, then to win the stake everyone (almost) will vote for yes because that's what the author needs (this is supposed as well). The author will be confused about the result. Polls will become biased. one more point to be noted is, anyone just creates a random poll and asks his friends to vote for a specific thing just for money, there will be a cash burn to provide them money.
