I really screwed up this time. I was searching for a tech cofounder on YC's cofounder match platform. To make my outreach messages sound professional, I ran them through ChatGPT for grammar refinement. Unbeknownst to me, ChatGPT added "[your name]" at the end of the messages—something my original drafts didn’t have. I didn’t catch the mistake until after I’d already sent the messages to five highly skilled individuals. I even checked out their LinkedIn profiles, and these people are seriously impressive in their fields. Now, not only do they know about my startup pitch, but also about my embarrassing oversight. I can’t even imagine how unprofessional I must seem right now. It's like handing out business cards with a typo in your name—except it’s worse because now they know I depend on AI even for this! also I used chatgpt for the above text (refinement). jaan jaye lekin chatgpt use Krna na jaye if lazy ppl had examples : it would be me 😭
