Modi government startup FAKERY - Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge targeted the Modi government for providing the Indian startups with"almost negligible support, which he called a "STARTUP OF FAKERY." - Barely1.58% of the accredited startups received funding from the Startup India Seed Fund and almost 97% lacked tax benefits. - Modi government promised Rs 20,000 crore exists for startups, but only Rs 454.04 crore has been sanctioned i.e. Rs 32.65 lakh per startup. - More than 5,000 startups closed down in 2024, which resulted in the loss of at least 156,000 jobs since 2020. - He credited the growth of the startup ecosystem to entrepreneurs rather than government policies. What's your opinion on this?
