Just curious that how would the equity would be distributed among those multiple peoples. It would be somewhat similar to buying shares of company before its listing , or anything else 🤔

This is actually great and could replace the early friends and family round/angel round because not everyone has friends and familty with a lot of money or connects to get angel round

The biggest hurdle would be navigating India’s complex financial regulations, especially for equity crowdfunding, which would require strong compliance with SEBI and other authorities but then again, in fintech i have learned that you can either ask for permission or say sorry when they come knocking and the latter is always better

Not sure if crowdfunding for profit/returns is legal in india...there's all that donatekart and all but they do it as a charity thing online na, not as an online business.

Investors are investing money in start-ups and start-up fails or not making profit, they are again investing in start-ups and start-up fails or not making profit. So the question is if start-up not making money then how investors earn money. I know
