this is absolutely revolutionary for indie AI developers. A petaflop of computing power on your desk? Five years ago this would've sounded like science fiction. And at $3000, while not cheap, it's actually reasonable considering what you're getting.

Meh. Even the macbook bros are not using their macs to their full capacity with all the M1, 2 and 3 and whatnot processors. This is good to brag with all the poiwer but how often will you use it to its capacity?

Everyone's forgetting that the M3 Max MacBook Pro already handles most AI workflows just fine for way less power consumption. Yes, DIGIT is more powerful, but do you really need a petaflop for prototyping? This feels like buying a Ferrari to drive to the grocery store.
