Additionally most of the vehicles that run in the valley travel less than 5kms a day. They realized this distance can be travelled by e-bikes. hence they created curve electric - Jammu and Kashmir's first public E- bike sharing system. They are committed to protecting kashmir's climate and a improving mobility. curve electric was founded in 2023, in just one and half years it has successfully stopped over 145 metric tonnes of carbon emissions, which is equivalent to planting 7200 trees. Zubair and sheikh are childhood friends they are both MBA graduates. in 2002, post covid, after India opened up its travel, Kashmir experienced record inflow of tourists. the city could not handle the traffic. they saw a problem-- traffic congestion and along with their two other friends they brainstromed and stumbled onto micromobility.
