It depends on the field of business it may be defined as a solution to a problem or it may as an employment generator

so example one is generating profits and employment and example second is the solution of my problem
it depends on the business or startups for example - I'm making tomato powder which is so demanding of spices so such business will help to make a lot of profit and also will generate employment as we will get all tomatoes from the farm example 2 - I am in my dite but I don't know the food I m eating is good for me pr not so the app like cal calculate by which that will help me in letting me know about the food calories by which I will able to maintain what to or what not to eat
