I am a second-year B.Tech Biotechnology student passionate about starting a startup but facing several challenges. I used to play professional cricket but left due to limited opportunities for my age group. While players like Pravin Tambe succeeded at 40, I’m unsure if I should pursue cricket again at 19, especially since I doubt my parents would support it financially now. My focus has now shifted to entrepreneurship, which I discovered after joining college. I’ve explored this world deeply, but opinions vary widely. Some advise prioritizing studies, while others suggest moving out of West Bengal due to limited startup opportunities. Balancing academics and external work feels tough with semester-wise consistency expected. While many believe entrepreneurship must start young, I didn’t have early exposure to it. I want to believe in myself, but I’m also confused about whether to revisit cricket, focus on studies, or pursue my startup dreams.

We pursue entrepreneurship not for wealth or power, but to fix what we know is missing. Until it’s solved, we can’t let go—and if it remains unfixed, we hold ourselves accountable.
