There was a time in my life when I desperately wanted one of these, but every time, I had to let it go due to financial constraints or the inevitable mismatch between my dreams and my parents’ budget to make their kids happy. The engineer in me would get restless, dreaming of owning it at any cost. The ads and hype surrounding these metal blocks were on another level. For a middle-class kid, the alternative was often playing with clothespins or random household items, trying to mimic the joy these toys promised. I had a few cousins who owned them, and while it was as fun as it looked, the real thrill for me was imagining owning it using the spanner, bolts, and screws to build something of my own. That thought was pure magic. I don’t know if you guys remember these toys from your childhood, but seeing them again feels so refreshing. It's amazing to know people still buy them. Some things never get old. Funskool definitely had kids crying in the 1990s and 2000s. P.S. What's ur story?
