Came to know that Zomato is offering users a huge discount on the product if they cancel the product in last minute. This is only if the user is ordered within 3 - 5 Kms radius. This was introduced to make a significant reduction in cancelling the order. LOL! I don't know how this is going to be success?, If you came to know that zomato is providing the offer for last minute cancellation, will you not cancel the order only for those discounts? Rather than these offers, They should have introduced some restrictions in cancellations, Allow only 5 cancellations per month and if a user needs unlimited cancellations, They can go with premium plan. Yes this might make some customers jump to swiggy from zomato, But I think a ordinary person will not cancel more than 3-4 persons per month. And there is very less competition, Those left customers can easily be distracted if there is more offers in zomato than swiggy. And I heard that Bangalore is the top food delivery hub, So i don't know what's there normal number of cancellations per month. What's your thoughts?
