You have a valid point. The "movement" and "revolution" narrative is often overused, and for some, it can feel disingenuous or pretentious. Many founders adopt this language to make their brand feel larger than life or to connect emotionally with their audience, but it doesn't resonate with everyone. The truth is, not every company needs to be a "movement." Some are just great businesses solving real problems effectively. Instead of trying to sound grandiose, focusing on tangible impact and authenticity can often resonate more. A company being honest about its goals, challenges, and achievements often gains more respect than lofty claims about being a revolution. What matters most is whether the product or service actually improves lives—not how it's marketed. If the results speak for themselves, you don’t need to overhype the narrative.
