Hey I am on Medial • 12m

Hello entrepreneurs, I am a 2nd year student from ECE dept. in IIIT. But I found myself not interested in this branch I also got 4 subjects that failed. I am interested in development and startup. I have complete knowledge on the app development and I have a clear vision and idea on founding the startup. Presently I got stuck between the decisions whether to continue my btech which I'm not at all interested in and do a job or to discontinue my graduation and pursue more skills needed and found a tech startup. As an experienced entrepreneur can you please help me in this life changing decision..? please let me know what should I do now?

Well ig we're on the same track just different colleges, as in engineering college you get a ample amount of time, and as you say you got complete knowledge of app development, then why not building an app using your knowledge + AI just an MVP app, First get to a certain threshold and then quit your college that'll be a better decision I think but at the end it's your life your choice

not a experienced entrepreneur which u might be looking for advice but I will advice you to try building you dream startup while in college and hold you dropout plans until you achive certain achivement in your startup building journey first. it might be different but leaving college yet won't be good decision imo.
