Set to commence operations in Jan 2025,the facility reaffirms Visteonโ€™s strategic focus on India as a hub for cuttingedge automotive technology development. Strategically located, Kolkataโ€™s strong talent ecosystem and proximity to top engineering colleges make it an ideal hub for advanced software & technology development. The centre will initially seat 300 engineers by the end of 26,with plans to scale up to over 500 engineers in the next 2 to 3 years. It will specialise in Android-based infotainment,autonomous vehicle solutions, cybersecurity,multimedia & remote projection & cloud technologies, establishing itself as a Centre of Excellence exclusively focusing on Android-based infotainment and cockpit software development.
