Ai Robots for Elders! This is what Israeli startup Intuition Robotics is doing! Founded in 2016 by Dor Shuler, Intuition makes robots which make you feel as if you're with someone. So elders often live alone and feel isolated without any touch from their family members or friends. Thus, these guys made ElliQ, a robot with which you can: 1) Talk whenever you wish (coz sometimes even your plants don't listen to you) 2) Play games 3) Travel the world from the comfort of your home 4) Get exercise suggestions 5) Take advice, book appointments, and much more Firstly this isn't a real robot (like Tesla Optimus), rather it's more of a communication device like Alexa. The company advertises it as a 'robot'! But still, it's still a great product for elders. Elders have experienced a 95% reduction in loneliness, a 90% increase in health and wellness, and feel more social after using this. This startup has raised $83 Million in funding, and their revenue stands at $23 million. Each 🤖 costs $250 with a necessary $50 monthly fee (extra). Do you think the need for such assistants would increase among common people as well?
