Can someone tell me why do VC's keep funding companies like Byju's and OYO for years even though they keep on making losses year on year.

Sometimes, I wonder how we waste our time in things which doesnot contribute anything to our success. Imagining we have 90 years, that is only 1080 months in total. Let's count each and make it productive.
