Apple’s UX quality decline for iOS is quite indefensible tbh (I’m still at relative peace with macOS). I find it absurd that the biggest tech company in the world designs its system software in a way that gives off the impression that they: 1. Do not believe in a distinction between UI and UX, and 2. Prioritise visual appeal and empty Bauhaus-esque minimalism over usability. Insane to think about how Apple’s visual design used to be THE standard for what was considered good, balanced, and user-centric design once upon a time.
