To combat increasing air pollution in Kolkata, Kolkata Municipal Corporation has planned to set up vertical gardens at pillars of Metro projects as well as pillars beneath flyover & bridges. KMC has also planned to plant 25 lakh saplings across the city in the nxt 2 years.
