I’m a solo entrepreneur working to build my own web agency with the goal of making $10k by 2025. Here's my journey so far: I graduated in 2021 with a BBA in Finance. After graduation, I decided to switch to web development to build a better life, earn more than traditional professions, and create something impactful. I started learning web development in 2021 and continued through 2022, 2023, and 2024. During 2022 and 2023, I struggled to find a job despite my efforts. That’s when I decided to pursue freelancing to gain experience and income. Unfortunately, my freelancing journey didn’t bring the results I hoped for. In 2023, I started a digital web agency called DesignJoy.in. However, the venture failed due to a lack of resources and experience. I didn’t give up and, a year later, started a new agency SolowebHQ with the aim of making it bigger and more successful. I’ve been trying everything to get results—running Facebook ads, creating Instagram and Facebook pages for the agency, and pushing myself every day. However, I still haven’t achieved the success I want. Meanwhile, my college friends who pursued traditional jobs are now earning and progressing in their careers, while I feel like I’m stuck at zero despite my continuous efforts. I keep asking myself: Why am I not getting results? What am I doing wrong?

One Tip I would give every Entrepreneur from my side is- Define your Market First even before your business. Example- If I graduated & no job & no business experience. Then your priorities should be 2 on Top: 1) Make money as soon as possible & quick- Start with something that one can pay even 1 Rupees for that & solve it for them. This builds the momentum & gains confidence. 2) Once you reach the topline or done it for months. Look for BIG & Crucial Markets to get paid for what work you are doing.. This is very very Crucial & most entrepreneurs miss this. First, Find BIG Market & Solve in it but don't find business & after Market. Remember, The Efforts alone doesn't matter but also the market size & location too. I hope it helps!!

You’re in the weeds right now, but the ability to pivot and learn from each attempt is what will get you where you need to be. Keep tweaking, stay consistent, and maybe try to find a mentor I would recommend. Someone who's been there and done that.

Maybe ditch the ads for a bit, double down on what gets you clients like word of mouth, referrals, or maybe a niche focus in web development that sets you apart?
