Bill Gates had access to computers early on because of his parents. Mark Zuckerberg dropped out of college after recognizing the potential, traction, and market size of Facebook. Even for Amazon, Jeff Bezos' parents invested $300,000 to help him start the company. I always advise early entrepreneurs and students not to focus solely on the glamorous side of entrepreneurship and just being fascinated by looking at the creamy layer instead speak with numbers.
