Hi everyone, I'm an employee working at a leading MNC and looking to start a small e-commerce business of selling books. I will bring books from Indiamart and will sell on meesho, Flipkart. the books like "the psychology of money" will be a starting catalog. Since I have only a budget of 40000 and i want to start a business. Budget distribution as follows: Printer: 10 - 12k packing material: 1.5k Books: 1st order: 10k 2nd order: 10k 3rd order: 6k + profit after selling from above orders. I have fes questions like selling books is as simple like order from indiamart and list the product at meesho and start having order from customer or there is a requirement need to fulfill in this category. any suggestions on my budget breakup or any suggestions.

I have some ideas to pitchin don't just sell on meesho, create a brand, a website (use Shopify/dukaan) and implement 1. books in quick commerce, delivering same day. 2. auto recommendation and subscription : send books to readers home every week, 2 weeks, 5 books a month. curated to their interest and reading speed. 3. try to create a community (start on social media then take that audience to your own platform ) where people can share their reads and discuss 4. show data insights and analytics to users about their reading preferences. all the best
