why isn't India pushing it's manufacturing sector like China, it can solve many problems like job creation and will boost startup ecosystem in the country as well... I know people in the cabinet are much more smarter than I am, but what are the actual reasons stopping our government?

India still faces gaps in logistics, electricity, and transportation, which make large-scale manufacturing tough to scale and I think it's more imp now for us to increase consumption instead of just production. Maybe that's also a reason.

Modi Launched so many schemes for manufacturing even tax benefits also gives you funding under so many schemes but still people's are doing traditonal manufacturing business because they don't have proper ideas like no one wants to manufacture textile that we are importing from Bangladesh even luxury brands like Zara are openly saying that we are ready to shift to India if they provide us same quality and affordability but still Indian entrepreneurs unable to create a proper working model for this

Manufacturing Sector needs land and China has much more vacant land than Bharat in present . So maybe the main reason is our increasing population with limited land mass .🙂

Bro china does not have that good labour laws that we have, no wfh and all in manufacturing and no 9-5. Full day all day pe they get or may not get paid. I don;t want our country to become successful at the price of our citizens sufferings.

for manufacturing there should be consumers worldwide who use our indian products.right now the global demands are mainly fulfilled by china as it's products are cheap while also they are known for being low quality.the steps the India has to take are: 1.increase foreign sales of products. 2.keep it cheap such that it is comparable with Chinese products. 3.make a good image of Indian products quality and quantity wise. 4.increase quick manufacturing and employment.
