Missing the point entirely. Instead of comparing with China, we should focus on improving ease of doing business, reducing red tape, and boosting manufacturing.

The moral shouldn't be "focus on size" but rather "focus on fundamentals". Quality of growth > Speed of growth. India needs to prioritize inclusive development over raw GDP numbers.

The comparison isn't that simple. Growth percentage on a smaller base will always yield smaller absolute numbers. Basic math. India's 8% is actually more impressive considering the development stage.
