I would suggest to stop using AI for creative works, you can use it to imagine your own creation but If I hire someone for my logo creation then I would want the creator to use Illustrator and actually design his creation himself

Its mostly the same thing, you are dragging and dropping premade icons/elements and adding a text over it. Alignment is preset based on the canva’s grid system. I would recommend using illustrator and photoshop to actually understand depth logo creation and the concept of color mixing, font adaptations towards the illustrations/icons and color schemes.
